1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer.

54% of participants in a study by St. Luke's Mountain States Tumor Institute said they had "probably or definitely" delayed getting a mammogram because of the perceived discomfort associated with it. As many women already suspect, no women were involved in the design of the mammogram machine.
